Back To The House That Love Built

(Tito & Tarantula / Desperado soundtrack)

I know it’s raining baby
I’m stripped of all my pride
I stand here at your door
Sick of all the lies

Oh Let me come inside
I couldn’t see myself
The room was
Filled with signs
A strange woman kissed me
A tattoo in her eyes

Forget about the past
Forget about the guilt
I’m going back to the house that love built
That love built
the house that love built
the house that love built
the house that love built

I need to remember
What I came here for
Love or mercy keeps me at your door
Let me come inside

Forget about the past
Forget about the guilt
I’m going back to the house that love built
That Love built

Nowhere to go
No way to tell
If I am nearer to heaven
Or one step closer to hell

Forget about the past
Forget about the guilt
I’m going back to the house that love built
That love built
the house that love built
the house that love built
the house that love built

All the Weapons

Mankind is split into two hostile groups by promises that have no realisable content. The sources of this conflict cannot be dissipated by compromise, for every concession to factual error merely creates more unrealisable expectations. Yet, an anti-capitalist ethic continues to develop on the basis of errors by people who condemn the wealth-generating institutions to which they themselves owe their existence. Pretending to be lovers of freedom, they condemn several property, contact, competition, advertising, profit, and even money itself. Imagining that their reason can tell them how to arrange human efforts to serve their innate wishes better, they themselves pose a grave threat to civilization.
